Five benefits of using Apple Cider Vinegar in your hair

Apple cider vinegar, otherwise known as cider vinegar or ACV, is a type of vinegar made from cider or apple must and has a pale to medium amber color. Wikipedia

Using apple cider vinegar in your hair is an excellent treatment for a variety of different hair and scalp issues. ACV contains anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties to it, but doesn’t destroy the natural balance of your hair the way chemical-laden shampoos and conditioners do. This leaves your hair healthier and with more luster to it.

Some of the benefits of using ACV in your hair include:

ACV

  1. Removing dead skin cells and promoting healthy growth.
  2. Leaving your hair grease-free and shiny.
  3. Neutralizing the pH of your hair and scalp.
  4. Removing dandruff and relieving itchiness.
  5. Removes grease and buildup from your hair

You can use ACV straight in your hair, but I like to water it down some. Usually I’ll make a mix that’s 2 parts ACV and 1 part water. It works just as well and helps your vinegar last longer. This is important too if you have chemically treated hair.
